the waylist helps with questing if a map exists.

on your first session of a character it is good to collect the closest roadpoint by pressing c in the waylist and then collectiong it and typing /reload.
now you can press b in the waylist and your arrow keys become a list of quests you can navigate. just press enter to start navigation.
this navigation brings you into the questarea center, which sometimes isnt enough. So what you do is pressing shift enter on the quest in the waylist.
left and right arrow in the questlist lets you select objectives if the quest was recorded by other users.

if you dont have a quest, try the q key in the waylist. you can also up and down arrow on them and enter keys.

/bsexplain setted up a qpdis key. it is handy in questing since it trys to target quest related npcs.

also you can ctrl-b can read out the task and alt-b reads out the questtext.

just know in caves or buildings it often helps selecting a higher point with an end in it in the waylist by pressing down arrow.

Control g twice in the waylist can reset your corspe to the spirithealer
g in the waylist is guiding you as close to the corspe as it can but talking to the spirithealer in retail isnt a big deal.
in general while dead the questpointer points to your corpse.

some quests might require you to aim. you can try the spinobj for that
/bsbind SHIFT-G spinobj
also in vehicles you can move the camera with ctrl-arrow keys to lets say aim with a cannon.
sometimes the game wants you click the extraactionbutton. in case you cant bind it put this in chat:
/click ExtraActionButton1

/taketaxi Stormwind when talking to a flightmaster will take you to stormwind.

if you stopped a pathing with lets say going into waylist and checking for a questtext then you can restart it with the key n.

On max level worldquests can be selected by opening the map and than pressing space. enter and shift enter helps you with them.
